Chimney Fire

SERVPRO of Columbia, Montour & Sullivan Counties received a call for a chimney fire on a weekend. Our crew had responded and had started the clean up on Sunday. This before picture shows what our crew walked into, fire debris on the floor and contents. The firemen had cut across the wood ceiling adding sawdust to the water and smoke debris. Much of the soot was cleaned from the fireplace bricks as well. The first floor sustained water and fire damage. The second floor had smoke damage. The basement had sustained only water damage. The after photo reflects what the floor had looked like prior to our crew leaving for the day.
