SERVPRO was contacted to provide an estimate for soot cleanup, caused by a table top style fan, in the basement of the home, catching fire and melting. This provided quite a large deposit of soot webs and particles in the basement, with lighter soot accumulation throughout the first and second floor rooms.

The basement ceiling was a large mass of soot webs, also extending into a crawlspace, which had very little access room. SERVPRO personnel were able to create an extended multi-piece wand for their HEPA vacuum, providing the ability to reach the majority of the crawlspace ceiling. Extensive HEPA vacuuming of the basement ceiling and cleaning of contents in the basement created a very satisfied customer.
