Bat Droppings

SERVPRO was asked to provide a quote to remove bat droppings in an attic in Bloomsburg, PA. The estimate, including removal of very old blown-in insulation, was provided and accepted by the homeowner. Use of an insulation vacuum made the job much easier than trying to rake out the dusty insulation. Unexpectedly, the job was made a little more difficult due to debris mixed in with the insulation. This ranged from large amounts of granules from old shingles, pieces of wood, nails, and newspaper from 1949 that was beneath the insulation. Frequent clogging of the vacuum occurred, but after all material was removed, the homeowner was very satisfied, upon completion of the walk through.
