Water damage to laminate flooring is a common issue, often caused by plumbing leaks, floods, spills, or improper maintenance. Any source of water on laminate floors can result in damage, and coverage varies—some manufacturer warranties and homeowner insurance policies may cover it, though often water damage isn’t covered at all.
